Abbott’s Internal Training and Education program is designed to equip the Field Technical Engineering (FTE) Team with the technical ability to provide high-quality, in-lab clinical support from day one. The team is required to follow an advanced training cadence of both theoretical and practical assessment, which supports their annual requalification for field certification covering all aspects of EP specifically tailored around Abbott’s technologies.
Within the National Clinical Team, Abbott is proud to confirm that 10 team members possess International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners‡ (IBHRE‡) Accreditation.

A prescribed series of short training sessions that is delivered over 1 year. These frequent education episodes ensure flexibility between online, in-person and hybrid teaching sessions.
